Wendy Jepsen’s second release, “Song of the Bride”, is now available. Inspired by prayerful exploration of scripture regarding the relationship between Christ as the Bridegroom and the individual believer/corporate Church as the Bride, Wendy has released a collection of original, worship focused songs she hopes will inspire deep communion with God in all who listen.

The arrangements on the project are acoustic guitar driven, ranging from simple guitar/vocal on “I Remember You” to a variety of arrangements with multi-layered harmonies and soaring violin/ electric guitar solos.

Wendy is a worship leader, singer/songwriter, recording artist and speaker.  She encountered the love of God in Christ at age 19, beginning a journey of intimacy with her Creator.  Wendy reached a pivotal point in her Christian walk during a 2 1/2 year period in which she had no voice.  During this “wilderness” time, Wendy experienced a deepening of her relationship with God as she found His voice to be one of tenderness and mercy (Hosea 2:14-16, 20).

In 2004, after completing graduate studies in the field of social work, Wendy felt the call of God on her life in the area of music ministry.  “God has used music in powerful ways in my own healing process, and I  hope to use it to help others hear His voice and respond with a lifestyle of extravagant worship.”  Her love of music and songwriting has become a vehicle of expressing and sharing the reality of God's healing and love, and her passion is to encourage others to seek a life of deeper intimacy with Christ.

Wendy and her husband Chris have two sons.  She is involved in the worship ministry at their home church in Ogden, Utah, and has ministered in concert, church, and prison settings.     She is available for concerts, leading worship, and teaching about the journey of the heart into true intimacy with God.
